Marie’s Corner signs a new prestigious collaboration with a starred chef

Iconic Chef Christophe Hardiquest unveils Menssa. A few months after closing his famous Bon-Bon restaurant, he is back in force with an innovative concept focusing on nature and people. Menssa is built around a counter, allowing customers to see and interact with the chefs.

Known for his high standards (2 Michelin stars and 19.5/20 in Gault&Millau), the Chef wanted to create a real multi-sensory experience for his customers. It was only natural that he turned to local craftsmen to develop his imposing custom-made décor. Marie’s Corner was the obvious choice. The Belgian specialist in tailor-made seating had already supplied the chairs for his previous restaurant.

What was special this time? Instead of customising one of the models in its catalogue, Marie’s Corner developed a model exclusively for Christophe Hardiquest. The entire design of the high chair was conceived and produced to meet the chef’s vision. The restaurant is thus transformed into a singular contemporary undergrowth concentrated around a spectacular kitchen counter. The bottle green velvet high chairs bring a touch of elegant colour to a world essentially composed of wood.

Marie’s Corner has always had a special relationship with the hotel and catering industry and has many prestigious collaborations in this field. This is why the Belgian leader in made-to-measure seating has developed MC Rent, a unique renting system that offers real flexibility to restaurants and hotels wishing to renew their decoration.
