Cuines 33

The pleasant interior reflects perfectly the drive for perfection, passion and hospitality of the trio behind Cuines,33 – a unique restaurant in the finest bathing resort of our coast, yet one that exudes a worldly character. The decor by interior decorator Lieven Musschoot tops it all off. Eclectic and timeless, with a wink to the 1950s, modern accents and playful colors, the interior creates a subtle blend of materials, lighting elements, an inviting bar and a feeling of security thanks to the use of solid wengé, a tropical hardwood. The artificial tile wall and copper rear wall are also bound to attract attention. The convergence of the dining room with the kitchen creates a sense of inclusion and involvement in the preparation.

Texas stools and Manchester and Oldson chairs from the Marie’s Corner range were chosen for this project, carried out in cooperation with the architect Geoffrey Van Hulle from the firm Van Canneyt – a fine cooperation yet again on the Belgian coast.
